A visit suitable for everyone, enabling you to discover the secrets of Bianzano Castle and view the unspoilt nature of the Gaverina Valle delle Sorgenti (Valley of the Springs).
Would you like to know what is hidden in the medieval castle of the Suardi family in Bianzano? An expert local guide will take you inside the fascinating hamlet to discover the story of the castle and the village, where the traditional historical re-enactment “Alla Corte dei Suardo” (At the Suardo Court) takes place once every two years.
Afterwards, a short walk (about 20 minutes on foot) will bring you to the BioPark of the Valle delle Sorgenti (Valley of the Springs) of Gaverina Terme, a large green area covering 13 hectares with 10 educational classrooms, a hiking centre, spaces for conferences and tourist hospitality, and a breeding centre with horses and other animals.
PROGRAMME:
– 9.30 a.m. meeting at Bianzano parish church.
– 10 a.m. start of the visit with a description of the village and castle.
– 12 noon (approximately), a short walk (approx. 15 minutes) or by car/minibus to the Valle delle Sorgenti BioPark.
– 12.30 p.m. lunch at Cà Valu (inside the park) with traditional dishes.
– 2.30 p.m. games for children and discovery of the park, the spring and its biodiversity.
