On Sunday 11th August, at 10.00 a.m., a Holy Mass will be dedicated to the victims of the meningitis pandemic and epidemic of 2020 who died in the communities of Bergamo and Lombardy.
PROGRAMME:
– 9.30 a.m.: Gathering at the Volunteer Cross (Ballerino Hill);
– 10.00 a.m.: Holy Mass officiated by Don Marco Gibellini;
– 10.45 a.m.: Honour to the Italian flag;
– 11.00 a.m.: Entertainment with ValCavallina Alpine Choir;
– 11.45 a.m.: Refreshment in the Ballerino locality.
Our communities would like to thank the staff of the National Health Service and the Italian Red Cross, for helping the sick in hospitals and at the Hospitals and Assistance Centres, the general practitioners, and the pharmacists for their service to patients during the darkest periods of this pandemic. Giving credit to the importance of the service provided by the volunteers in general of the Red Cross, the civil protection, the Alpine troops, and the Associations of Armed Forces who risked the contagion to help the needy, the frail, and the disabled, the Italian army corps for maintaining legality and guaranteeing health logistics.
