Every step inside the cave is a journey back in time.
PROGRAMME:
– Meeting point: 2.45 p.m. in Grone, near the Colli di San Fermo. The exact location will be confirmed in the days leading up to the event (depending on the number of participants);
– Brief briefing, followed by a very short walk to reach the cave entrance;
– Descent into the cave with the Sebynica cavers (duration approx. 2 hours);
– Excursion ends at around 5.45 p.m..

– Participation fee: €30. An advance payment of €15 will be required as a deposit, to be paid by bank transfer;
– Please wear suitable clothing, as the temperature inside the cave will be 8°. Suitable footwear (hiking boots or rubber ankle boots). Work gloves are recommended. Helmets with headlamps will be provided;
– You may get dirty due to mud and dripping water! Please bring a change of clothes in your car if necessary.
⚠️WARNING⚠️: The excursion does not present any particular difficulties, but you must be reasonably fit and in good general health. To access the cave, you will need to climb down and up a rope ladder approximately 6 metres high (enclosed on all four sides and therefore completely safe). Obviously, you must not suffer from vertigo or claustrophobia.
The organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to deny access to the cave to one or more participants if they identify potential risks, including where participants’ physical or mental condition is deemed unsuitable.
