Fruit, vegetables, honey, cured meats, cheese, wine, and much more are at the km0 farmer’s market in Berzo San Fermo, every fourth Sunday of the month.
The farmer’s market at Berzo San Fermo (BG) was launched in April 2016, with the objective of highlighting and promoting the local economy and the farms at the heart of the Berzo district.
On their stands, the farmers taking part display traditional, seasonal and fresh products, made using production techniques that remind everyone how important it is to work “like they did in the old days”.
In markets like this, quality is the beating heart. Direct contact between producers and customers makes it possible to create relationships of mutual support and trust.
The traditional appointment at Berzo San Fermo, comprising the exhibition and display of traditional local products, is held during the morning (from 9.00 a.m.) and managed by the local farms. The date is for the fourth Sunday of each month, at the sports centre, with aperitifs offered by the farms present, at 11.00 a.m..
