Discovering life in the reed beds
An easy kayak excursion to discover Lake Endine is organised by BergamoXP, every Saturday morning and afternoon, booking from May until the end of September.
The Lombardy Region has declared this area a natural park because of the lush nature surrounding the lake. In particular, its shores are characterised by reeds, in which a rich biosphere of birds, fish, and amphibians lives.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you will kayak along the surface of this lake, a gem embedded in the green Pre-Alps of Val Cavallina.
After the handover of your equipment and a brief technical briefing, you will set off on your exploration amid dense reed thickets and lush nature. Your guide will accompany you, recounting valuable secrets and amusing anecdotes about the lake. There will be plenty of time for a break and a refreshing dip in the lake water!
- Discover the nature of Lake Endine from a new point of view;
- A guide (in ITA -ENG language) will accompany you for the duration of the excursion;
- You will have a technical briefing to learn the basics of kayaking technique;
- The waters of the lake are calm and the distances short, the excursion is simple and within everyone’s reach, and no previous experience is required;
- We provide all the necessary technical equipment;
- Bring a swimming costume, trainers or rock shoes, a visor hat, sunglasses, a synthetic thermal T-shirt, and spare dry clothes;
- Meeting point: Monasterolo del Castello (BG);
- Duration of activity: 2.5 hours.
The tour will also take place in the event of bad weather, provided that, in the guide’s indisputable judgment, conditions exist for the safe and smooth running of the activity.
Should the tour be suspended due to bad weather conditions, you can make it up at a date to be agreed upon, or you will be fully reimbursed.
Minimum age 8 years. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
THE FEE INCLUDES:
– Hire of technical equipment necessary for the outing;
– Accompanying guide for the duration of the excursion-
THE FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
– Tips;
– Drinks and snacks;
– Lunch.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If made at least 7 days before the start of the booked tour, there is no cancellation fee.
If made between 1 and 6 days before the start of the booked tour, there is a cancellation fee of 100% of the amount paid.
