The improvement of the accessibility of this route was made possible thanks to S.T.A.I. – Servizi per un Turismo Accessibile e Inclusivo (Services for Accessible and Inclusive Tourism): a project financed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Lombardy Region, to propose a model of inclusive tourism in the lake and mountain territories of Bergamo and Brescia.
The project promoted actions to favour the accessibility and use of spaces, routes, services, communication, and information for people with motor, visual, hearing, and intellectual-relational disabilities.
