16th Edition – Non-competitive walk organised by G.P. Avis-Aido Casazza
ROUTES:
6 KM – SHORT ROUTE
This route does not present any significant elevation challenges and runs entirely along secondary roads. It is particularly recommended for families with young children and mothers with pushchairs.
14 KM – MEDIUM ROUTE
This route does not present any significant elevation challenges. It runs along secondary roads and trails. It offers pleasant views of Lake Endine as it passes through several historic villages.
19 KM – LONG ROUTE
This route runs along secondary roads and trails in both Casazza and the municipalities it passes through, offering stunning views of the Val Cavallina landscape. It has some rough sections that are quite difficult, so it is suitable for walkers with well-trained legs and a sure footing.
REGULATIONS

– PARTICIPATION FEE: €5 for race services and participation certificate, €3 for race services without participation certificate.
– MEETING POINT: 7 a.m. at the Casazza Sports Centre (Bergamo) in Via Suardi.
– START TIME: Any time between 7.30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Families are advised to start at 8.30 a.m.
– REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Individual registrations until departure time. Group registrations by 10 p.m. on Saturday 20th September at +39 3383502035, +39 3489336043. Recognition will be given to the first 500 registrants; thereafter, only registrations at a reduced rate will be accepted.
– REGULATIONS: Participants must comply with the current rules of the highway code along the routes. Checkpoints will also be set up, and participants are required to request validation.
The route will remain open and manned by staff provided by the organisation from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
– PHYSICAL FITNESS: Upon registration, participants are deemed to be physically fit and expressly declare that they comply with the regulations for non-competitive activities (Ministerial Decree 24.04.2013 on health protection).
– INSURANCE REGULATIONS: The event is covered by civil liability insurance through the C.S.I. of Bergamo with Poste Assicura – Policy no. 90304 and accident insurance with Groupama-Assisoleil – Policy no. 113250022. A summary of the main policy conditions can be found on the website www.csibergamo.it. Accident insurance coverage only applies to participants who are in possession of an individual participation document, correctly completed in all its parts and endorsed by the organisation. The organisation declines all responsibility for participants who do not comply with the official start times, do not have their participation card clearly visible and do not follow the routes set by the organisation. The routes are mostly traced on secondary roads with little traffic. Along the route, participants must comply with the rules of the current Highway Code. For anything not covered by these Regulations, the CSI Regulations of Bergamo and the decisions of the Provincial Commission for Non-Competitive Marches shall apply. The organisation accepts no responsibility for events that occur during the event. By registering for the event, all participants accept the CSI Regulations of Bergamo.
– HEALTHCARE: Italian Red Cross ambulance on site. In case of need and/or emergency, please call +39 3383502035.
– REFRESHMENTS: n°1 at 6 km, n°3 at 14 km and n°4 at 19 km. Refreshments will include drinks, packaged food and various fair trade food products.
– SHOWERS AND CHANGING ROOMS: Showers and changing rooms are available at the finish line, if permitted by current regulations.
– AWARDS CEREMONY: 10.30 a.m. at the Sports Centre.
– PRIZES: Award for the youngest boy and girl; Special prize for the oldest boy and girl; Trophy and food basket for the largest group.
– APPOINTMENT: The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the routes in the event that adverse weather conditions and the condition of the track do not guarantee the safety of participants; the event may take place with last-minute changes to both the length of the various routes and the layout of the track. This flyer may only be displayed in public places in the municipality of Casazza. Therefore, any flyers found in public places in other municipalities are purely coincidental and not arranged by this organisation. The flyer is distributed by a designated person.
