Non-competitive walk – 23rd edition

WALK REGULATIONS
Meeting point
In Spinone al Lago (BG) on Sunday 4th August 2024 starting at 7.00 a.m., near the playground – Chiesina di San Pietro tensile structure is present.

Start and finish
The start is at 7.30 a.m. and free until 9.30 a.m.
The event is scheduled to close at noon or, in any case, after the arrival of the last participant.

3 evocative and scenic routes (frame the QR-CODE to see the route videos)
– GREEN route (7 km): flat suitable for families with children (between the municipalities of Spinone and Monasterolo);
– RED route (12 km): hilly of medium difficulty (between the municipalities of Spinone, Monasterolo, and Bianzano);
– BLUE route (15 km): hilly demanding (between the municipalities of Spinone, Monasterolo, Casazza, and Bianzano).
Recommended use of trekking poles/shoes for the Red and Blue routes.

Entry fees
There are two entry fees:
– €5 each, Identification badge
– €3 each, Badge Without Recognition
Individual registrations can be made before the start. At the same time, for groups, it is MANDATORY TO RESERVE by phone or e-mail by SATURDAY 3rd AUGUST by 10 p.m., stating the number of participants (groups are defined as a group of at least 10/15 people).

Refreshment stations and awards
Bar service with kiosk open at the start and finish. There are several refreshment points along the 3 routes and a rich last refreshment point at the finish, with appropriate drinks and food.
Recognition will be provided for the first 500 registered participants (1 food bag).

Assistance on the route
Volunteers from the Polisportiva, Protezione Civile, Gruppo Alpini, Municipal Police, and Carabinieri on leave will be present along the route, providing assistance at crossroads and junctions, pedestrian crossings, runner recovery and broom service.
The routes are mostly laid out on secondary roads with little traffic.

Regulations
During the route, participants must adhere to the applicable traffic regulations and common sense.
The organisation declines all responsibility towards participants who do not keep to the official starting times, do not have their participation cards visible, and do not respect the routes set by the organisation. All participants are obliged, before departure, to fill out the participation document in full, to make it visible during the walk, and to hand it back to the officials on arrival.

Physical fitness (Ministerial Decree 28.02.1983 health protection) and medical care
At the time of enrolment, the physical fitness of the participant is considered tacit, who, by registering, declares that he/she complies with the regulations for non-competitive activities. The ambulance of the Italian Red Cross section of Trescore will be present during the whole duration of the event.

Insurance
The event avails of the insurance coverage, UnipolSai Assicurazione R.C.T. n.184864797 of the Municipality of Spinone and the insurance coverage Polizza Infortuni n.113250022 underwritten, by the C.S.I. of Bergamo, with Groupama Assicurazioni Agenzia Generale di Bergamo. The summary of the main policy conditions can be consulted on the website www.csibergamo.it. Accident insurance coverage is only available to participants with the individual participation document, correctly completed in all its parts and stamped by the organisation.

Notes
For all matters not covered by these Regulations, the CSI Bergamo Regulations and the decisions of the provincial Non-Competitive Marches Commission apply. The organisation reserves the right to change the routes even at the last moment if weather and route conditions do not guarantee the safety of participants and organisers. The event will also take place in the event of bad weather.

This flyer can only be displayed in public places in Spinone al Lago. Therefore, any eventual finding in neighbouring countries has to be considered purely accidental and not arranged by this organisation. The same is distributed by a person in charge directly to participants during running events.
