On 12th August 1944, General Cadorna was parachuted into the mountains of Ranzanico. The municipal administration intends to commemorate this event.
PROGRAMME:
WEDNESDAY 7th AUGUST
Walk to Malga Lunga with Holy Mass.
Visit the museum, lunch, and entertainment.
SATURDAY 10th AUGUST
– 8.30 p.m.: at Palazzo Suardi Re, historical narration by Bernardino Pasinelli with photographic and documentary exhibition.
SUNDAY 11th AUGUST
– 9.45 a.m.: at Piazza Caduti, flag-raising with deposition of a laurel wreath;
– 10.30 a.m.: at San Bernardino Holy Mass;
– Later, the deposition of a laurel wreath at Cadorna Monument and refreshments.
