The 22nd edition of the DeSidera Bergamo Festival kicks off!
On the occasion of this event, a series of performances are planned in the province of Bergamo, including the appointment in Trescore Balneario on Saturday 21st September, at 9 p.m.
The Municipality of Trescore will host the theatrical performance IL VINO E SUO FIGLIO (THE WINE AND HIS SON) dedicated to the theme of wine, as part of the DeSidera festival and with the extraordinary participation of Enrico Bonavera, today the Harlequin of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano’s “Servant of Two Masters”, a show with which, over the last twenty years, he has toured practically all over the world.
The monologue, freely adapted from a text written in 1982 by Mario Brelich – “Il Navigatore del Diluvio” (The Navigator of the Deluge) – traces, through the story of Shem, the first-born son, the mysterious stages of Noah’s discovery of wine and, through that, of his strictly personal relationship with God, a very complicit and “human” Javhè.
Through his son’s gaze, we follow the old Patriarch’s progressive and comic evolution from the enthusiasm of the first sip to a joyous inebriation, to finally find him transformed by the numerous libations into a holy and dancing prayer of thanksgiving to the Most High, for the escaped danger of the Flood.
The son of an “old alpine man”, Bonavera himself also finds space, in a kind of “comic intermission”, to recount his own personal and first “alcoholic revelation”.
On the evening of the show, an extraordinary opening of the exhibition “Lo sguardo del Rinascimento” via Locatelli n° 14, from 8 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. is scheduled.
In case of bad weather, the show will be held inside the Cinema Teatro Nuovo, via Locatelli, 104, Trescore Balneario.
