The concert explores Italian opera through some of its most celebrated pieces, in dialogue with the natural landscape hosting the event. From Briccialdi’s brilliant Potpourri Fantastico based on The Barber of Seville, the programme moves on to the bel canto of Donizetti and Bellini, before turning to grand opera with the Prelude from La Traviata and the Fantasia on themes from Rigoletto.
